We are thrilled to announce that JCI Dhaka West is gearing up to host the 8th edition of one of its most celebrated signature events—BATTLE OF THE BRUSH 8.0! After seven successful editions, Battle of the Brush returns with an even greater commitment to:

Under the powerful message—

“Different Backgrounds. Different Abilities. One Canvas. One Future.”

Battle of the Brush 8.0 will bring children from diverse social backgrounds together on one common platform. Students from mainstream educational institutions, children from underserved communities, and children with disabilities will participate side by side in a shared celebration of creativity and self-expression.

This is more than an art competition. It is a platform where every child is encouraged to express their imagination, share their perspective, and celebrate their individuality. Our aim is to break down social barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create an inclusive environment where every child’s creativity, potential, and unique abilities are recognised and valued.

PARTICIPATION CATEGORIES

Participants will compete in four categories:
Category A: Play Group–Below Class 1
Category B: Class 1–Class 4
Category C: Class 5–Class 8
Category D: Class 9–Class 12

A dedicated participation and recognition arrangement will also be available for children from underserved communities and children with disabilities.

 

Participants will be required to complete the registration form with accurate information and make the applicable payment to confirm their participation.

 AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

Winners from every category will be recognised with:
 Prize Money
 Crests
 Certificates
 Special Gifts
Detailed information regarding the total prize money, number of winners, and category-wise prize distribution will be announced soon.

 ART MATERIALS
Participants must bring all the necessary materials required to create their artwork. The organisers will provide the official art paper only.

Participants may use pencils, crayons, colour pencils, pastels, watercolours, poster colours, or other permitted art materials according to their preferred creative style. Further instructions regarding the permitted materials, artwork format, and competition guidelines will be shared with the registered participants before the event.

 SPECIAL ART EXHIBITION

Selected artworks from Battle of the Brush 8.0 will be showcased through a special exhibition celebrating the imagination, creativity, and stories of our young artists. Through this initiative, JCI Dhaka West aims to raise awareness and generate support for meaningful initiatives benefiting children from underserved communities and children with disabilities.
